Najeeb Rana

General Manager, Internal Audit

Najeeb is GM and Head of ITFC Internal Audit reporting functionally to the Board Audit Committee. He has more than 25 years of relevant global experience and joined ITFC in 2018 with the objective of setting up a new and independent Internal Audit function for the Corporation. In this capacity, he uses international standards, risk-based model, and approach to develop multi-year audit strategy and plan in line with the expectations of the Audit Committee.

Prior to joining ITFC, Najeeb has held various senior level roles in audit and financial services advisory capacity in banks and big consulting firms including Deloitte, KPMG, and Ernst & Young in Canada and GCC. Najeeb has also led advisory engagements for the set-up of new banks and/or implementation of new strategy covering all key areas.

Najeeb obtained his Master of Science (MSc) from the University of London (UK) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA), UK, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Canada, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), USA. He is also the Past President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Toronto, Canada.
